DELAWARE PARK JOB FAIR - MARCH 18

Delaware Park is holding FREE PUBLIC INFORMATION JOB FAIRS for potential new TABLE GAME DEALERS. A comprehensive hiring and training effort is now underway to fill approximately 175 new positions associated with TABLE GAMES including a large team of dealers.

Dealers will be needed for CRAPS, BLACKJACK, POKER, ROULETTE AND MINI BACCARAT.



Thursday, March 18

Third Floor Clubhouse
Time: 1:00pm & 4:00pm

Each session will be limited to the first 200 applicants. Sessions will start promptly at times listed. No admittance once session has begun. Valid photo ID required to apply. For more information call 302-355-1029.

Table Games: Dealer

JOB TITLE: Table Games Dealer
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Previous Dealing experience preferred.  Successful completion of dealer school / program required.  Strong hand / eye coordination and manual dexterity skills are preferred.  Must successfully pass an audition to determine the performance levels and abilities.  Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery.  Knowledge of multiple table games preferred.  Must have strong math skills, with the ability to calculate numbers quickly and accurately.  Must possess strong money handling and documentation skills.    Must be able to wear and appear comfortable in the assigned uniform provided by Delaware Park.   Must be able to walk and stand for at least a full eight (8)-hour shift.  Ability to bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp as needed.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.  Ability to perform duties at station assignments that are busy with limited space, have high volumes, diverse clientele,  noise, music, minimal and/or bright lighting and variation of climate control. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management is mandatory.  Must be able to handle all types of guest related situations; relay all guest compliments and complaints to Table Games Management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution  of service excellence is paramount.   Conduct and facilitate the game by providing rules of the game to participants, according to established requirements.  Ability to calculate odds quickly and accurately to pay winning bets and collect loosing bets.  Ability to determine the appropriate chip denominations for cash received.   Must be cognizant of the security of the game being played and notify appropriate member of Table Games management of any irregularities and/or attempts to cheat while the game is being played.  Follow policies & procedures for money handling, audits, fills and credits for the assigned games.  Provide our guests fast, fun, friendly, joyful, focused service.  Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.   Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.  Performs all other duties as assigned.

MIS: Application Programmer

JOB TITLE: Application Programmer
EDUCATION :
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.  College Degree or related experience.
REPORTS TO: I.S.
Development Manager / Sr. Systems Programmer
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  Proficient in SQL and Client Server Development which may include Microsoft products.  Must have strong verbal communications skills.    Must be able to lift Fifty (50) pounds without difficulty.  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.  Act with discretion and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information. Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with co-workers and management is mandatory.  
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the full systems development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of various database systems.  Develops and supports databases using VB.net or Visual Basic.  Develops and maintains reports.  Performs data conversions between operating system platforms.  Required to work directly with end users during development and support.  Require to assign and monitor tasks of the full systems development life cycle of junior developers.  Promotes outstanding customer relations.  Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.   Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.  Provide our guests fast, fun, friendly, joyful, focused service.  Communicate (both written and verbal) with and promote positive team member and guest relations.   Maintain professionalism at all times when working with other team members and/or guests.  Performs all other duties as assigned.

Surveillance| Surveillance Officer

JOB TITLE: Surveillance Officer, Surveillance, Compliance
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
EXPERIENCE: Responds to calls requesting the need for surveillance coverage.   Conducts surveillance through the CCTV system utilizing the necessary equipment to observe, report   and record procedural violations and unusual activities.  Communicates violations in a timely manner to appropriate supervisory personnel and follows up  with accurate and detailed documentation.  Prepares additional reports when applicable.  Conducts tape reviews as assigned; changes tapes as required.  Documents equipment malfunctions.  Must adhere to Delaware Park’s Policy and Procedures.  Responsible for compliance with all related State and Company Regulatory requirements.  Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.  Promotes outstanding customer relations.  Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.  Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Previous experience in casino surveillance preferred.  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to read and interpret documents.  Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.  Must be computer literate.  Vision must be correctable to 20/20.  Must be able to work all hours and days of the week including overtime when needed.  Must be able to sit for long periods of time without difficulty.

Security | Security Officer

REPORTS TO: Senior Security Officer, Security Shift Supervisor and Security Shift Manager
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
EXPERIENCE: Previous security experience preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs. repeatedly.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business including evenings, weekends and holidays.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain a constant vigilance to insure the safety of patrons and employees and company property.  Responsible for maintaining a professional demeanor.  Enforce and adhere to Delaware Park Policy and Procedure.  Responsible for enforcing security procedures at all assigned posts.  Assists in the transfer of monies from one area to another.  Patrol grounds in security vehicle as assigned.   Promotes outstanding interdepartmental and customer relations.  Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.  Performs all other duties as assigned.
