The Grove


The GroveOne of the best dining options for families is the outdoor picnic grove next to the clubhouse. Located in the most picturesque area of the park, you can bring your own picnic or take advantage of the seasonally-offered BBQ selections. The Grove also provides a premium spot for viewing the horses in the landscaped Paddock, as well as the racetrack. Mutuel tellers and restrooms are conveniently located. This area, as well as the large white tent is available for private parties too. We can facilitate large parties and BBQ for over 2000 guests.

Delaware Park will offer 116 days of live thoroughbred racing in 2010. The Meet will begin on May 1 and conclude on November 6.

Live racing will be held on Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursday live racing will be added from July 15 through August 26.

Delaware Park's premier races, the Delaware Oaks (Gr. II) and the Delaware Handicap (Gr. II), will be held on July 10 and July 17, respectively.
