Delaware Park Announces 2010 Live Racing Dates

Season features 116 days of live racing

Wilmington, Del., January 19, 2010 — Delaware Park announced today it will offer 116 days of live thoroughbred racing at the Stanton oval in 2010 with the meet starting on May 1 and concluding on November 6. The schedule for Delaware Park's 73rd season of exciting live racing was recently approved by the Delaware Thoroughbred Racing Commission.

Live racing will be held on Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursday live racing will be added from July 15 through August 26.

Delaware Park's premier races, the Delaware Oaks (Gr. II) and the Delaware Handicap (Gr. II), will be held on July 10 and July 17, respectively.
