The Commissioner of New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, Erik Kulleseid, along with Empire State Development President, CEO, and Commissioner Hope Knight, have confirmed that the Ryder Cup, one of golf’s most prestigious events, will be held at Bethpage State Park in New York in 2025.

“We are honored by our growing partnership with the PGA of America and look forward to welcoming fans from around the world when the biennial Ryder Cup returns to the United States at Bethpage State Park in September 2025,” stated Commissioner Kulleseid. Known as “The People’s Country Club,” Bethpage Black is renowned as one of the top golf courses globally, and the Parks team is already making preparations to showcase its excellence during the event.

Bethpage Black, a public course, has previously hosted two U.S. Opens and the PGA Championship.
