Tiger Woods made one of his first public appearances since undergoing foot surgery in April, caddying for his son Charlie at a golf tournament. The 14-year-old Charlie won the second round of the Last Chance Regional this weekend, with his father on the bag, securing a spot in the Notah Begay III National Championship in November.

Despite their successful partnership on the course, Charlie remained tight-lipped when asked about any special secrets or advice from his father. “We just stay in our own little world,” Charlie said. “We take it one shot at a time.”

For Tiger Woods, being able to support his son on the golf course was a special moment. He provided guidance and encouragement to Charlie, emphasizing the importance of focusing on each shot. “He puts me in my place,” Charlie shared. “I’ll talk about the next tee shot, and he’s like, ‘No. This is the shot we’re going to focus on.'”

The experience was not only memorable for the Woods family but also for Shane Croft, whose son Chase was paired with Charlie and Tiger at the Notah Begay tournament. Croft expressed his gratitude on Instagram, calling the day “unreal” and praising the professional organization of the junior golf event.

This tournament will be Charlie’s chance to shine on the national stage. The Notah Begay III National Championship will take place from November 4th to 6th at Koasati Pines at Coushatta Casino Resort in Louisiana.

As for Tiger Woods, the 47-year-old golf legend has not played competitively since the Masters in April. He withdrew from the tournament due to reaggravating his plantar fasciitis while playing in rainy conditions. Shortly after, he underwent foot surgery in New York, and no timeline has been given for his potential return to golf.

Fans and golf enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting a full recovery for Woods and the possibility of seeing him back on the course. In the meantime, the Woods family continues to make waves in the golf world, as Charlie prepares for his upcoming championship.
