The Memphis Tigers men’s golf team is gearing up for the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio. After an impressive T-6th finish at the Folds of Honor Intercollegiate, the Tigers are aiming for another top-10 finish in this upcoming tournament. Led by senior golfer Jack Tanner, who finished T-2nd at the previous event, the Tigers are hopeful for a strong performance.

Head coach Blake Smart expressed his excitement about returning to what he considers one of his favorite courses of the year. He mentioned that the team had a productive week of practice and hopes they have addressed areas that needed improvement to compete at a high level.

The Bearcat Invitational will be a two-day, 54-hole tournament held at the Coldstream Country Club, a par-71 course. The Tigers will play the first two rounds on Monday, with the final round scheduled for Tuesday.

The tournament will feature several notable teams, including Arkansas State, BYU, Chattanooga, Florida Gulf Coast, and Illinois State, among others. Notably, No. 36 ranked Louisville and No. 41 ranked Southern Miss will also be participating. This lineup promises some tough competition for the Tigers.
